Having Problems. . .please help

I have been working out and watching what I have been eating for almost a year now. I started at 195 and now I am 180 (on a good day). In august it will be a year of trying.
I work out nearly everyday (will take a day off here and there)
My work outs consist of:
Running at least 3 miles everyday
weight training 3 times a week
watch what I eat between 1500 and 1700 cals depending on my work outs.

I am just sick of being FAT and not seeing any results. I have measured and have only lost a couple of inches so I am not loosing inches.

any tips?? anything medically that could be worng?
I have had my thyrod checked and that is normal. . . so it is not that!
Please help

Re: Having Problems. . .please help

First of all, congratulations on your success so far! Even if you want to lose more weight, you've been doing very well with your healthy habits.

As for your question, it could be that your body got used to its routine. If you do a similar workout each day and it's been a year, it might be time to change it up. I have a similar routine to yours. I try to do spinning classes some days to switch things up, and sometimes I like to run longer distances or run on a different surface (for example, run outside instead of on the treadmill). It might be what you need to get out of a plateau.

Also, what does a typical day of food look like for you? You mentioned your calories, which sound reasonable for your fitness level, but I don't know what kinds of foods you eat. I used to have to eat in the 1200-1500 range to lose weight, but I am 5'4 and have a petite frame. I find it helpful to make sure meals are balanced by using a free online tracker. I add in my foods I eat and make sure I'm in range. I try to keep my carbs at the lower end and protein on the higher of the suggested range. I gain weight in my belly easily, so cutting back on carbs really helps!

Re: Having Problems. . .please help

I do use a tracker on my phone to make sure that I am on track for calories and protein and what not. I run 3-5 miles a day and do cross training so I am changing it up alot. I am going to see my Doctor at the end of July and demand every test!
I am going to bring a detailed food log with me too!!!

I am 5'7 and a med frame

I am trying this Shake thing my friends mom told me about

you take half a Chayote and a slice of Pinapple and blend it with water and ice.

YOu drink it every morning before you eat anything and eat as normal through the day.

she lost 90 pounds by doing this eating right and exercising.

We will see
