hypnosis

Has anyone tried Hypnosis to try and lose weight? I have been doing it for about two weeks and have not got anywhere. In fact, I have gained two pounds.

I was just curious.

Re: hypnosis

hypnosis can be a very powerful and successful tool for losing weight. Usually the suggestions to eat less and to desire more healthy foods are given. Sometimes visualizing yourself standing on a scale seeing your goal weight is another technique. There are times that it is necessary to go for cause on why your are overweight. Another big issue is sometimes dear friends and family sabatoge the suggestions by saying things like "ah you don't need to lose weight" blah blah. If you are more suggestable to your friends and their "well" meaning comments then your hypnotist may need to block you from being influenced by them. When someone says you don't need to lose weight, you can say to yourself I am going to be healthier and happy by taking care of myself. I think the rule of thumb is it takes 21 suggestions to make a new habit.
Hopefully, you have a good hypnotist. Be positive and you can do it!
