Weight Control

Has anybody found a "permanent weight loss program "yet. I have tried a lot of diets some more successful than others but am still having a weight problem. I exercise ( could always do more) and do not eat excessively.

Re: Weight Control

My permanent weight control is through a diet targeting Insulin Resistance combined with lots and lots of exercise.

I am 5'9" tall, and range from around 121 pounds in the morning to around 128 pounds in the evening.

The link to my thread Does an "Insulin Resistance" diet improve blood pressure? is:
Overcame CHF, A-Fib, HBP, Diabetes, Asthma

⇒ Avoid chemicals;triggers;irritants;toxins
⇒ Ten years- 30,182 BPs
⇒ egg and fish diet 60% fat;20% carb;20%prot
⇒ Power walk,Weights,Bike,Stepper

Re: Weight Control

Here's a quick answer....and it is not meant to be rude.

1. Exercise
2. Eat healthy (and do not under OR over eat)
3. Change your lifestyle (see 1 & 2)
4. Throw all the crap you know about diets out the window. They don't work (and research proves this) for weight management sustainability.

Re: Weight Control

With any diet, you'll see big improvments to begin with and then the effects will slow down. Just keep excersing, spread your meals out (I found not eating after sixPM helps) and drink lots and lots of water but it works, honest!
