| Hi - new to the board & just looking for support
I'm Kim, 30/f/m with 3 children, age 7, 4 & 20 months. I am 5'5 and currently weigh around 200lbs. I have tried lots of diets - but never seem to stick with anything. I'm very impatient, and if I don't see results within a few days, I give up & resort to old habits.
The first thing I've done to try to reach my goal of 150lbs is to give up coca-cola. I'm now drinking an occasional diet dr. pepper, but am trying to steer clear of the caffeine. I'm working to replace my 4 cans of coke a day to ice cold - water! <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif"> It's tough, though. So far so good, though.
I am also taking Thermoslim...in fact, today is my first day. No bashing please - I do understand and have carefully weighed the side effects of products containing ephedra. I am also being closely monitored by my family physician - and he is aware I'm taking this product. (he doesn't agree - but will monitor me)
I work full time and 4 days out of 5 skip breakfast - and wonder just how important breakfast is for losing weight? I've heard lots of different ideas on this.
I eat lunch (fast food unfortunately) at work, then eat dinner around 7:00pm.
I only find time to make myself exercise about twice a week - and that's usually only riding an exercise bike until my legs give out (about 4 minutes <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif"> )
Any suggestions/support/advice is appreciated!
