Well i've been laying low around here for about a month and I really love this place! Its amazing how encouraging some of the posts here are!
Ok i've finally decided to share my dieting experience so far. I started taking some diet pills on March 23rd at which I then weighed 221 and fit comfortably (not loose not tight) in a size 18 jeans (i'm 5'3 BTW). When I started taking the pills I started watching what I eat, I eat alot better now and although I know I still sometimes eat some unhealthy stuff for meals but compared to what I ate before (fast food junkie) it's a big difference. I was also a Dr. Pepper addict and I now allow myself one a week and drink nothing else but water. I also started exercising 5 days a week for 30 minutes on a stationary bike (I know I should exercise more and i'm working on it). The pills worked wonders for my appetite and still do but I am currently waiting for an order of new pills to come in to try for a month. Ok I don't want to name the pills i'm taking now so as not to discourage anyone who might be taking them or thinking of taking them cause in general I liked them. The problem is you can only get these pills on the internet and with shipping i'm paying 35 dollars a month and while i've gotten pretty good results but I really don't think for the price that my results are good enough when I could get some pills 10 to 15 dollars less with possibly the same results. I am now 204 pounds and wearing a size 16. These are pills with ephedrine in them and they told me how to break the tolerance and I have done what they said to do for each month but pretty much after the third week on them I am not getting very good results any more(and I do know that diet pills will not be as effective after the first month) but like I said its still working on appetite control. So I am going to try out an ephedrine free diet pill that I ordered that are suppose to be good and see the results there and if I don't like them i'm going back to the pills i'm currently taking. Sorry that took so long and I hope I don't sound like a complainer cause I am happy with the results I got. Anyway I just wanted to say hi and how great reading your posts have been! And if anyone has any other diet tips i'd love to read them.
AWESOME Bebe -
I'm not a fan of diet pills. You're doing everything right - the water, ditching the sodas and fast food, the exercise. Your weight didn't come on overnight - you can't expect it to leave you in a blink of an eye. There are so many side-effects, miracle claims, and additives, you are better off just doing the work. You're much to valuable to waste your money or your health on the pills. If you must really "pop a pill", make it a multi-vitamin.
