I just wanted to confess something. I went to my parents house this weekend for fathers day. And of course my mother had to make all of this marvelous food. And fattening. But to make her happy I ate some stuff I should not have. I did not gain any weight. But I have been kicking myself ever since I got home. Then I had a slice of pizza w/ my husband. But, I just needed to get it off of my chest. I am so glad this forum is here for me to vent.
I am going to hit it strong and hard tomorrow. Well, really from this moment on. LOL No sense in saying tomorrow. right?
108? i bet you are tiny! i read your other post with your weigh in. it seems to me you could enjoy what you eat a few times a month, wish i could...lol, but i'd wind up being 800 pounds. how tall are you and what is your age? (if you don't mind me asking) take care and God bless!
I dont mind you asking. I am 5'2" and I am 31. You are right about thinking I should enjoy it more...but it was so hard for me to lose weight. I tried for two years. I quit smoking a year ago and gained almost 40 lbs. I have always been relatively small. And when I gained that weight I felt like i could not move. I had no energy or anything. I was miserable. I seriously thought I could not do it and stick with it. Now....I do get somewhat paranoid. I ended up getting under my goal weight. And really had not planned on it. I got depressed when my husband left for a month. (He is in the Navy) And ended up losing 7 more pounds than had originally planned.
But I do the zone dieting now...where I eat so many carbs a day. And it is working for me...I am maintaining it....but it is so hard not to go and pick up that doublecheeseburger and curly fries. Ya Know?
lol, i know what you mean. junk food is so good, but i hate the pounds eating them add. well congratulations on you losing your weight. i do know how hard that is, i've been struggling myself for about 3 years now. i think when i finally lose all my extra baggage i'm going to be extra careful not to gain anything back too. its too easy to gain, and so hard to lose. congratulations again, and take care. God bless!
