Several years ago the FDA (or whoever) took all products off the shelf that had the ingredient phenal...something something. All the old store diet pills used to have this ingredient and so did some cold medicines. Here is my question and my problem. I used to be able to lose weight when I took those diet pills because they really supressed your appetite. Now that they are not available I'm having a hard time losing because I get so hungry. I've tried ephedrine products, but they just make me shaky and feel weird. I'm still hungry. Question: can you still get the old diet pills or are they totally gone? Any other suggestions? Thanks

I had the same problem Susan. But last week, I started taking the over the counter Acutrim--they are without that drug and are doing a good job of suppressing my appetite! I have experienced absolutely no side effects either! Dexatrim has one too. I only chose Acutrim because I was really broke and they were a little cheaper.
