Hi everyone...well i needed info on a protein shake diet, i got it..then i tried scan diet! I think it was mentioned here before but i wanted to let you all know that it does truly work! I've been on it for 1 week and have lost almost 10 pounds!! The shakes arent that bad-i have the chocolate ones. I was surprised because i hate slim fast! Well i hope this can help some of you out! =)
What is your regime with the scan diet? Do you eat any food, or just the shakes? I have been doing slimfast and lean cuisine meals for 3 weeks, and have seemed to have hit a plateau. I work out with weights and cardio. Does anyone have any suggestions? And keep up with the good work with the scan diet!!!!!
Is Scan Diet, the meal replacement shakes from GNC? I went there a couple weeks ago to buy a multi-vitamin and the guy behind the counter gave me a couple packets of it, to try it out. I tried the strawberry flavor and it was really good, but didn't think twice about buying it, because I hadn't really heard of anyone using it. Please post, and let us all know how often you take it, and whatever else you're eating, along with if you excercise and how much. I'm very interested... also what's you're age/height/weight. I'm 5'6 146lbs and have lost 30 pounds on Weight Watchers but I would like to add a protein shake to my diet because I don't think I'm not having enough.
I just saw this on Rosie O'Donnell's show. Deidre Hall from one of the soap operas was her guest and they talked about the Scan Diet and the new protein bars. Go to the Scan Diet web site. I might try the protein bars if it's not loaded w/sugar.

LynnKBF,Swiggs,Andreeny:there are 3 different ways to go with this diet. There is 'Attack','Balance' and 'Control'. Each have different meal plans. I have chosen to go on the 'Attack' plan. With this plan I have 5 to 6 shakes a day with any fruits and vegetables I want. I admit this 'Attack' plan is a little hard to get used to but the shakes really get me full! I have also been walking one mile a day with wieghts and I'm sure this boosts my wieght loss! I hope this answered some questions you might have had. Good Luck! =)
I bought some over the weekend...the bars are alright but the soy in them tastes kind of gross. The shakes are DISGUSTING! I can't even drink them, too thick and full of soy. YUCK! They taste absolutely horrible to me. The bars are only ok, not good by any means. Don't know if I can do this diet or not because I don't like the taste. I do like Slim Fast but it doesn't seem to work. I am 5'10" and 135, only want to lose about ten pounds.
5ft10 and 135lbs? You must be fairly young still if you want to be 5ft10 and 125lbs. I'm 5ft4 and my ideal goal if 130-135lbs! <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif"> Now, my realistic goal is 150lbs, so...even that would make me happy. I'm almsot 32, have had 2 children 8 years apart, and am right around 200lbs. Hmmm...looks like everyone in this thread seems to be from the States. I wonder how much this stuff costs up here in Canada. I know it said $29.99 for 15 individually packaged servings of the shake powder, and 18 servings in a can that you measure out yourself I think. I'll have to check with my GNC I guess...sounds interesting if it doesn't cost a fortune.
