Re: Protein bars/shakes
Let me reiterate. I am NOT on a low carb diet. I am just following a balanced diet with less calories, sugar, and fat. It's nothing special. I hated being on the low carb diet because I've been vegetarian for years. A couple years ago I went back to eating meat, but even then I only eat chicken and fish and that can get old if that's all I eat. I'm a sucker for fresh produce. I do know that vegetables, legumes, and grains can give me gas which is why I use beano which helps a lot. It's these damn protein meal replacement shakes and snack bars the gym gave me that are giving me the trots suddenly. Today I didn't partake of any, and I'm happy to report that everything is back to normal functioning. I realize it's just an promotion/offer that gets me to buy their stuff at the gym. Anyway, thanks for responding, I appreciate it.
