You know the story...skinny then, fat cow now.
I wish I could fit into those size 4's, 6,s, or 8's or even 10's.
I have been trying the Merida 10mg a day...achieved nothing at all. Very disappointed.
I also bought the Cayenne Pills and L-Carnitine tabs...STILL NO LUCK.
Did the LOSE WEIGHT WHILE YOU SLEEP stuff. NOTHING.
I have been on Metabolife for years, for energy, no weight loss though.
First time with the Atkins diet successful. Lost 16 lbs. in less than a month, then plateaued. Unsuccessful the next two times I was on the diet. Gain it all back plus more weight.
My Dad passed away lost a lot of weight.
Months later gained it all back plus another 17 lbs. And that is where I am now.
I like to eat and watch TV. I do a lot of housework and do not eat on the job except at lunch.
In conclusion I would like to suggest that the reason I am overweight is not just my lack of willpower to eat healthy and exercise, but I blame a lot of it on the foods that we are offered and thereby tempted with today.
It is too easy for me to pick up fast food or frozen food, and such items on the way home from work. I mean, I am no June Cleaver. I do not look forward to making supper for the Family. I would rather watch must see TV and relax.
Can anyone relate? Of course you can.
Okay, let us now take on a challenge amongst ourselves.
I say we team up.
The way we go is simple:
Take this challenge:
1 Week
Give up one thing: - Just one thing that is not good for you.
For me, Coke.
Just take seven days to get over that addiction and then we will go to week number 2 and give up something additional, and so own.
We can make it up as we go.
Everyday we can update one another.
If I give up coke, I will be cutting a lot of calories and cravings.
Any thoughts???
What do we have to lose? Costs nothing.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Thank you for listening to my blah blah blah.
ssmeyer, actually I think that is a great way to cut the addiction of junk food. That is how I did it, cut out one or two foods I craved per week. After a month, I was eating healthy food and my cravings for those junk foods ended. Not keeping them around the house,no temptation. Writing down everything you eat and of course some sort of exercise everyday worked for me
