Hey everybody, well I have been trying to lose weight for about a year now. No I haven't tried everything...actually I haven't tried anything, just the regular low-calorie diet. I did that all summer long and it worked, I lost 12lbs. but as soon as I decided I wasn't gonna deal with starving myself anymore-which is what I did, I would binge because I deprived myself for 3 months. I started the binging by taking a "day off" which I never got back on, and a couple binge days turned into weeks. Anyways, that led into bulimia and I'm not bulimic anymore...(well I don't really know how long it takes of you not doing it to say you aren't) so now I am trying to lead a healthy life. I've realized that I need to COMPLETELY change my lifestyle, not go on a diet. Today is my first day of the Atkins diet and I'm so excited. Reading the book gives me so much motivation, I am just praying that I can have this much motivation all through my life-changing experience, not just the first day. Anyways, the point of all of this is that I'm going to try to keep anyone who cares updated of my progress, hopefully it works! <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif"> Just so you know my weight is 136 and I am a size 6, my goal is to be a size 2-4 and be at about 115-120 lbs. My goal time would be by August 1st. Also, I'm hoping that having to update this every week will give me the motivation and will power to hang in there when my Carb cravings kick in.
