Has anyone used chitosan??

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has used any products with chitosan. if so how does it work? and how were your results on it? I was thinking about adding to my weight loss program for times when I want to cheat. I have tried carb blockers & they were ok. so which is better? thanks for any replies keeping the faith. d-man
[This message has been edited by d-man (edited 05-29-2002).]

Re: Has anyone used chitosan??

Yes I have tried it. But, this is after I have already obtained my goal weight. I dont pig out on junk or fatty food. As far as it working, it does keep you regular in your bathroom habits. I have kept the weight off but then again, I still exercise and eat low fat food. I still use it. I think it might mostly be a mental thing.

Re: Has anyone used chitosan??

Blippo, thanks for the reply.. what brand did you try? I eat alot of protein & low carbs which has helped me to stay in shape & loss weight, but on the weekends I like to 'junk up'.( pizza, can of coke, maybe some doritos) Maybe I will try it to see if it helps me on those crazy weekend binges. thanks again! d-man
[This message has been edited by d-man (edited 05-29-2002).]

Re: Has anyone used chitosan??

I tried a product called Cheat&Lean. The difference between this and most fat blockers is you can take this with your meal. You dont have to take it 30 minutes before your meal like most of the fat blocker products.
