Well to tell you the truth, most of the calories, HEALTHY fat, and protein are in the actual seed itself. You are probably burning calories with the entire process of "sucking the inside of the shell" and "Cracking it open"....Unless you are having the flavored ones, then you would be getting some calories from the added flavors. But if you are having the plain sunflower seeds, then you are just burning some extra calories!!!
