Hi there. You know I have tried every single form of dieting since I had my daughter and the one thing that worked was something like weight watchers on it you can even have a chocolate bar evey afternoon and still lose.On average I lost about 4 lbs a week,but I need more disci1pline because I overate.If you know someone who has a points counter and a food companion (my mil gave me hers) thats all you need to do it without paying everyweek. Its not extremly low fat because when you do that you'll screw up your bodys balance and metabolism.Bbut it does teach healthy eating.or You could pay the signup fee and get the materials if you want.I ended up doing that but stopped going and paying. It does work.My average day was this-
br-bowl of raisin bran,fat free milk;
lunch- egg salad sandwich,or grilled cheese sandwich sometimes ham sandwich,salad or fruit.
snack- chocolate bar or ice cream bar or whole bag or.
dinner- lean meat,twice baked potatoe,veggies w.cheese. then hot chocolate for dinner!
I hope this hepled. I just found it reaklkly worked but as I said I needed more discipline. I could never do extremely low fat.Just a suggestion. We have talked before.If you want you can email me anytime.
:confused Hi , boy do I ever know what you mean the same thing is going on with me. I went off the diet for one week and ate some apples. I actually put on 10 pounds. I have returned to the diet but the 10 pounds won't budge. If you find out anything at all please post.A friend of mine just ordered Optiburn and has lost 3 pounds this week. Have you evr heard of this one? It wasn't too expensive--around $30.00 for 120 pills. I might send for a sample and try it. Take care--I used to post as Herbal Mom on the old board. Lots of luck to everyone! <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif">
Low carbing worked great for me - I swear by it. I've got to ask you though - what kind of exercise program are you in? If you're not in one - start one. the closer you get to your goal the harder it will be to reach it. If you are already in one - change it or pick up the intensity, you may have hit a plateau. Good Luck.
Hi Pumped--I walk 3 miles a day and have started Ta Bo hope that helps. Why in the world would apples put me in such a tail spin. I have oranges comming soon from Fla. will they also make the Atkins diet go crazy?? Do you eat any fruit at all? Please help!!!

Lady Slipper,
Most fruits have lots of natural sugar, which is why they're not good for Atkins. Some berries are okay, like strawberries and raspberries and blueberries, I think.
