I drink lots of water on most days but on hot days it makes me sick as it does not quench my thirst. Is it ok to have a glass of crystal light instead?
its a matter of opinion, but i say yes b/c i was taught at ww that water is anything that is water based, low cal, sugar free&caffeine free. i drink crystal lite too, i hate water. i use the crystal lite to flavor my water. i water the CL down to my personal taste.
CL is great and very low calories. You can also spice up plain water with fruit (orange, lemon, and limes). The fruit makes it more refreshing and gives it some flavor!!
There are times I just get tired of drinking plain water, especially when it's at room temperature and had been sitting around in my water bottle all day. It begins to taste kind of like plastic. Using a lemon or lime works, but if it's been sitting around in my water all day it tastes icky to me. I discovered that if I dilute that propel fitness water, it adds a nice flavor. The propel alone is way too sweet, but if I put a little bit to plain water, it gives it a nice flavor. I also discovered that diluting that flavored sparkling water (the kind that doesn't contain calories and sweetners) is really good too for adding a kick to water.
