Newbie in need of help, please!
Hi there everyone
I'm a mum of 4 desperately trying to lose weight but really don't have a clue how it all works! I've had 3 babies in 2 years and 9 months and while I adore them its completley ruined my body!
I've been dieting a week and managed to lose 4lbs in my first week. But I'm just so confused how it all works. I'm 192lb now and am currently on a 1200 calorie a day diet but stick to 1000 a day if I can, which is difficult because I'm pretty hungry! I have a fairly active lifestyle, I walk about 3 miles a day pushing a double pushchair with 4 stone of toddler in and carrying my 14lb 11 week old in a sling. I also do zumba once a week and swim around 52 lengths (which takes me 60 minutes...rubbish I know!) three times a week.
I keep reading things online about exercising NOT helping you lose weight? I just don't understand it all! I need someone to tell me how many calories a day I should be eating and how much I need to exercise to lose weight!
I'd really appreciate any help anyone can give me.
