New Diet Pill Mirafit
Been hearing about this one a lot lately. It's rather new and Meijer recently started stocking it on their shelves. It's a fiber pill that claims to help your body stop absorbing up to 500 calories a day. Doesn't seem to have any side effects. It was up for FDA approval but was denied a last week. You can still buy it from health food stores and any other store that stocks it. Anyone else hear about it? Has anyone tried it or plans on trying it?
Prevents fat from being absorbed by the body
Takes about 500 calories per day out of the food you eat
Lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol and triglyceride levels
Several separate double-blind studies have shown Mirafit to be effective for both overweight and obese individuals
There have been few reported side effects
Contains no stimulants
Not appropriate for people on a low-fat diet
Does not prevent the body from absorbing non-fat calories, such as carbohydrates or sugars
Some people experience constipation during the first few days of taking this
The supplement benefits can be overwhelmed by poor food choices.
