I've recently put on quite a bit of weight. I didnt really notice it until my dad pointed it out, really worried for me since i was now "enormous".
I decided to stop denying my unhappiness and unhealthiness and do something about it and have been eating healthier and doing more excercise but it will not go away.
I currently weigh 233 pounds, im only 5"7 and am an 18 year old girl. The problem is i do not feel this obese- which makes denying it even easier.
I was just wondering if anybody has some helpful methods or positive stories to share, they would be much appreciated.

I want you to know emmah, you're not alone. I struggle with the same issues. You're off to a good start eating healthy and excercising, don't give up. But in the mean time, you might want to have your thyroid checked. If your thyroid isn't working properly you can really pack on the pounds quick. Keep us posted on your progress. You can do this!
