I need help!

I am 19 years old, I weigh about 150, I know I am not extremely over weight but I am only 5 feet tall, and if I am pushing the healthy weight zone for my height, I am wanting to lose some weight and I know that one of the best ways to do this is to eat 6 small "meals" a day to keep my metabolism going, but I go to school and work as a server and do not normally have time to eat 6 times throughout the day, what would be the best thing for me to do?

Hi,
I started the whole "eat 6 small meals a day" thing a couple of months ago. I'm pretty busy during the day as a teacher, so here's what I do:
During my regular meal times, I eat regular (but smaller than before, obviously) meals. I have also added small snacks in mid-morning, afternoon, and evening.
During those times, I'll typically grab something some. For example, for my mid-morning snack, I'll eat a granola bar (not one of those sugary ones, but a REAL granola bar). I can eat this quickly between classes. In the afternoon, I'll grab a quick cup of yogurt or a piece of fruit, then go on my way with my afternoon meetings or whatever. My evening snack can be more of a sit-down thing, since I'm usually home by then. But if that's when you're working, you may want something quick and small, too, like some Babybel cheese.
It seems daunting at first, but once you get into the habit of it, it's pretty easy. It helps for me to set a limit on my number of calories for the entire day, so that I don't end up eating six BIG meals and totally sabotaging myself.
