I would like to lose 1.5 lbs per week. I did lose 1.8 the first week but this week I gained exactly that back...not sure why. I exercise 5x week doing Kardio Kick, Bowflex, Yoga and Pilates. I did measure myself before so I would know if I lose inches which really is the main thing. I don't think I have lost anything inchwise yet cuz my clothes feel the same. The first week I lost I was eating eggs and turkey bacon for breakfast, snack I would have greek yogurt, lunch usually a bowl of low sodium soup or eggs and 2 lite sausages, another snack would be cottage cheese, dinner usually chicken, brown rice and lots of veggies with spray butter or olive oil. Sometimes for dessert would be Weight Watcher cookie dough sundae.
Now the week I gained I started eating weight control oatmeal for breakfast instead of the eggs and snack was always a banana and greek yogurt. I wonder if maybe too many carbs caused the gain.
I am 47 and I am wondering how many calories or carbs I should eat for weight loss of about 1.5 per week. Any info would be appreciated!!
