going to start losing weight.. have some questions

hey everyone.. ive decided i really do need to get into better shape.. so im going to do that by eating better food, and buying an excersize bike to use probably daily.. i feel making a habit daily is easier than 3 or 4 times a week.. so i dont get used to not doing it on some days

so.. anyway, about the eating better part... well, i grew up eating rather bad food, a lot of red meat, fried stuff.. and i just dont know any other way.. i dont have any list of healthy recipes, i dont really know what to look out for and such... and well, i was wondering if theres a preferred website or cook book on here where i can find recipes of meals to make..... maybe a combination of a good cookbook with various dinners, deserts, breakfasts and maybe a good daily recipe source online that wont cost too much to make.. so the more inexpensive the better..

about the excersize equipment.. i can only seem to budget about $150 towards an excersize bike and was curious as to what features or models i should look into?... user reviews online are often made by employees or the company itself so its hard to get a straight answer from that.. id trust people here more...

anyway, thanks in advance for any advice given

You could probably pick up a cheap treadmill or bike at a second hand shop.. eat high protein
foods. Being a Southerner I know all about eating heavy meals three times a day. I cut out a lot of sugar and carbs and lost 50+ lbs.
