I doubt it. I think the whole apple is filled with fiber thing is a lot of hoopla. Whenever I eat an apple (no matter how big it is), I'm always starving a half hour later.
I tried that when I was on my teenage days. It does work a lot especially if you pair it with a glass or two of water. I used to work in a fastfood chain and I eat their food everyday. I gained weight at that time so I tried that apple before meal.
