Im looking to do some cardio. Not confident enough to go to a gym and workout in public and im a college student at home for the summer so i cant really buy any equipment due to space and money. Any suggestions for an exercise plan?
I like videos. Jillian Michael's "Ripped in 30" is a nice half hour program that incorporates resistance training, cardio and abdominal work and is nicely balanced. Beachbody's "Insanity" program is a very intense cardio workout. You can get just one disc called "Insanity Fast and Furious" that is a quick 20 minute workout if you're on a budget. I like Tabata and HIIT and both systems work really well.

i actually got myself to start running thanks for the advice guys, i think i might try to insanity, but i wanna just keep running and get into a little bit of shape before i try it. i know i wont be able to handle it
I quit going to the gym some time ago, and now I started exercising at home with Jillian Michael's "Ripped in 30" video. Important is to set a schedule for it, the same way one should commit to going to the gym, and not skip the exercise.
