Question Losing weight but can't seem to tone flab

I have been losing weight through a combo of diet and exercise. My exercise is mostly walking/hiking, and 5lb hand weights. I have lost 21 pounds so far, in approx 2 months. I have embarrassing loose flab on the backs of my upper arms, and I was wondering if this is ever going to go away? Does anyone have any exercises they could recommend to help with this area? I am not expecting any huge changes in only 2 months, but I haven't seen ANY change at all, even with 20+ lbs gone. I also have a similar problem with the belly area, but not as much. I use the hand weights for my upper arms about every other day, but I don't really know how to do any proper arm exercises.

Re: Losing weight but can't seem to tone flab

I had the same problem and had to result to products that help to tighten and tone. !'ve been very happy with my results! It's depressing to know that we put in all of the hard work to lose weight but then are left with excess skin!

Re: Losing weight but can't seem to tone flab

You might try heavier weights, 8-10 lbs. I suggest doing several arm exercises at least every other day up to 6 days a week. The Shake Weight 6 minute workout is a great supplimental workout.
