Post Not sure if it was a miscarriage HELP

This is a question for my friend (HONEST!)

My friend was walking down her hallway the other day and a huge blood clot just fell out of her.
She said she didn't cramp or wasn't hurting at all and she was having her periods normally.
She describes it as looking and feeling like a glob of firm muscle tissue. She didn't bleed excessively after that, she just flushed it down the toilet and didn't think anything else of it.
Was this a miscarriage? How could a huge blood clot like this just fall out?

Okie, you've posted this question in several areas across the board... have you found out what this is yet?
