Colored Discharge????????? - Women's Health Message Board

OK I have been on provera pills for about 8 days because I havent had my 2nd period since my 3 mo old son was born. Today when I went to the bathroom after I wiped I looked at it(hoping to see blood)and what I saw was a semi thick dark plumb colored discharge.soo sorry it sounds gross. any Ideas of what this may mean? Ive only seen that color of discharge when I've had a miscarrage/have you ever heard of this or has it happend to you???

I have experienced that before, it's going to take a while for your period to become regular. It could still be (what's that postpartum stuff called) Lochia???

Perhaps a call into your OB/Gyn is in order. Any other symptoms???

Your right thats exactly what it has to be. Because this morning i had a bunch of it!! Followed by heavy brite red bleeding. I didnt have any other symptoms not even any cramping weird. I'm just glad I'm not pregnant. I was really scared I was just cause I've never been this late unless I was.
