I only get this way near when I "think" I am going to have a period. I feel it sometimes whether I have a period or not. My cycles are so erractic lately.
Age here is 42 going fast on 43. I work out 2x/wk. for a total of 3 hrs/wk. Plus 3 teenage boys, husband,work 30-40 hours/wk. I guess I feel working out helps a great deal. I am by no means a body builder, but feel the need to keep on top of the inevitable mid life weight gain. I struggle for every pound I can keep off.
Other than this, just eat a low fat, low carb, diet. Avoid salt, fast food,etc. Get regular exercise, and limit the items that can cause weight gain. Just walking more than you currently do can make a difference. Add 20 more steps each day then the day before.
