Ingrowm Hair / Razor Bump HELP - Women's Health Message Board

Hi-
A few days ago, i noticed a grayish bump of skin 'down there'I dont know what it is. i get razor burn & bumps quite often, but never something like this. it kinda hurts when i pick at it ( i tried to cut it open) it looks there is at least one black mark like a hair trying to come thru) does anyone know what will make it go away its gross!!!

No matter what it is you shouldn't pick it and definately shouldn't cut it open. It sounds like an ingrown hair. Warm compressed as much as you can throughout the day, avoid touching, picking etc. Keep it dry otherwise, maybe even a triple antibiotic ointment will help inbetween warm compresses to avoid a secondary skin infection.

I had a gray looking bump, kinda like a layer of skin over my beauty mark down there one time. it was after shaving and the doc said it was prolly just a hair follicle. Prolly the same thing u have. I wanted to pop and squeeze it but it ended up just going away in a few days. Just put hot compression on it, im sure ure fine.
