Terrible bloating, and abdominal pain - Women's Health Message Board

Hi,
I haven't had a period since Jan., went to the doctor, he gave me a pregnancy test (just to be on the safe side), and it was negative.He also examined me. A pelvic. He told me I'm in perimenopause. I'm 45,and have about every symptom there is. This is my question, does anyone out there that is perimenopausal, or in menopause ever have bloating, and abdominal pain, around the time your period should be coming? I would really appreciate any answers you can give me. Thank you so much!

Check the menopause board and you will find plenty of posts about these same symptoms.
