infection that recurs, other symptoms maybe from pill - Women's Health Message Board

I had a late miscarriage, I think triggered from a uterine infection which was treated with iv antibiotics. Ive had several recurrances since, and wonder what damage can be done from months and months of having an infection in the lining of my uterus. Im on yasmin, which is raising my blood pressure alot, something my doc is watching, but Im also bruising all over, lightheaded and dizzy, no fever lately, exhausted but unable to sleep at night from pain and cramps (my uterus will contract and feel rock-hard, then normal over and over) and if we cant get this under control, I wonder what else to do. Im on antibiotics again. That doesnt seem to be a permanent fix. Anyone know of other treatments, things I can ask at my next appointment??

You symptoms of bruising all over and the dizziness etc need to be investigated so see the doc and have him figure out what is going on. I know you are under his care for all the infections etc but if he is not aware of the other symptoms you need to update him since these could indicate something more serious or it could be nothing but either way the doc needs to know.

I LOVE your name! You may want to check out the thyroid board and see if you have any other symptoms. Some of the symptoms could be your thyroid. Miscarriage could be a symptom as well as bruising, being exhausted and the lightheadedness. It certainly won't hurt to check it out.
