Question any good diets?

hi, guys!

I wanted to ask if anyone knows of a good and healthy diet. I really need to loose the fat on my belly, I'm not fat anywhere else just there.
Please do not tell me to do any exercise 'cause I'm really not the type.

The best "diet" is to change eating habits for the rest of your life. You can eat plenty of food if it is the right foods. First off start with whole foods, vegetables, fruits, whole grains, eggs, meats. Stay away from anything processed. No white flour, white sugar, nothing manmade. Stay away from soy and hydrogenated oils as they do not properly digest in your body.

Take your weight and multiply it by 15, this is the amount of calories it takes to maintain your current weight. In order to lose at a safe rate multiply your weight by 11, and there is your target number of calories. Never go below 1200 calories as your body will go into starvation mode. I eat anywhere from 1400 to 1800 calories and I am not hungry.

Not only will you lose weight but you will feel better, and become more healthy because of it.

Wishing you the best.

Thumbs up

I highly recommend Dr. Andrew Weil.......It’s not a diet. It is a cook book that gives lifestyle changes. For example he suggests you stay away from anything hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils. Increase you mono fats as well. They are the good fats versus sat. fats. He is big on organic eating and lets face it, it is expensive but I can attest that the food tastes soooo much better!! Anyway, you can go to any book store and pick up one of many cook books.
I also agree with the poster above that keeping track of calories is beneficial. You will be surprised how many calories you take in without even realizing it. I don’t know if I am allowed to post this next info. But I am going to take the chance. I found a great program that allows you to keep track of everything from food you eat to exercise and it counts EVERYTHING for you!! It is called ******.com
Good luck

I actually think that thinking about one's diet too much is an unhealthy thing. As girls and women, we are preprogrammed to obsess about our weight, watch our calories, and experiment with carefully calibrated diets with fancy names. So much so that we lost touch with any real sense of hunger. I used to try all sorts of diets and was always fighting off those extra 5 or 10 pounds. Then one day, I gave up and just ate what I wanted to. I have not gained a pound for the last 10 years and weigh the same thing I did when I was 16. (I'm not 35). So, I say throw away the scale. Eat organic. Eat natural. And listen to your body.

I hear the adkins diet is good. I have two friends on it. One lost 50 pounds the other has lost 15 pounds. I lost 95 pounds on Jenny Craig.
