what are the symptoms of a yeast infection?? cause i think i may have one.. thanks

smell and a discharge. The discharge can very from creamy to almost like a cottage chese substance.

The most frequent symptoms of yeast infection in women are itching, burning, and irritation of the vagina. Painful urination and/or intercourse are common. Vaginal discharge is not always present and may be minimal. The thick, whitish-gray discharge is typically described as cottage-cheese-like in nature, although it can vary from watery to thick in consistency.

I have to differ on one thing though, in my experience and from health professional, yeast doesn't not stink. It does have a distinct smell (similar to that of like a sweet bread) but not unpleasant in the least. If it is unpleasant, chances are its not yeast. Get it checked out whatever it is, b/c a lot of the infections we suffer may appear to be one thing, and turn out to be something totally different. You don't want to treat it (not knowing) and make matters worst. good luck.
