Nausea?

Does anyone know of something that works for nausea? Any comments are greatly appreciated! Cassie

Do you mean serious nausea? I have bial reflux among other things and I get very sick from it but I take an anti-nausea medication called Zofran and it works wonders. It's a little steap in price but it's worth it because I get my day back and it works very quickly... I think it also stops me from vomiting, which is good too. I'm not sure what you have nausea from but I swear by this medication. I only get nauseated in the morning, some mornings are so bad that when I get up before I do anything I run and take the medication and by the time I'm dressed I'm better... some medications are miracles.

Broadwaygirl, My nausea may still be a side effect from the med(anti-depressent) I started taking less than 3 weeks ago or just stress induced. hmmmm Thanks for responding!

Hi there - there is something called Emitrol that is just for this, and it works wonders. Make sure to ask the pharmicist about it interacting with your meds. You can buy it at any grocery or drug store, and its found by the pepto and immodium - stuff like that. Good luck!

Maybe you should consider coming off the antidepressant? There are lots of safer alternatives out there and it might help solve your nausea problem, rather than having to take more drugs.

Also Zofran is normally the anti nausea drug of choice for cancer patients who have unrelenting nausea following chemotherapy. A little steep I think? Surely maxalon and stemetil would be better for everyday use?
