Vaginal rhythmic twitching - Women's Health Message Board

I would appreciate any advice. Since Monday July 14th I have had a rhythmic twitching in my vagina which my husband can also feel. Duration between twitching was around 6 seconds, now it it constantly on/off/on/off. Hard to describe but like a humming. It's 3.20am and I'm just about ready to go the ER - at least seek medical advice tomorrow. I'm not sure whether to go to a regular GP or OBGYN. Any advice/help would be most appreciated. I am 36 years old. Thank you.

Are you in pain? Sounds like muscle spasms of some sort, but I think you should call your OBGYN. Good luck!

Auz- Have you found out anything? I am experiencing similar symptoms and am curious what it could be. Mine occurs mostly at night, but I have noticed it sometimes during the day...
