 Yeast after antibiotics
Ok, this is going to make me sound like a total hypochondriac! I had gardnerella last week and was prescribed the antibiotic Flagyl. I finished the 7 day treatment on Tuesday morning. It is now Thursday night and for the last few days, I've been obsessing over possibly getting a yeast infection. I never had one until about 3 months ago when I experienced one for the first and what I hope is the last time!!! It was horrible! Anyway, I've been checking my tongue for thrush, I'm obsessing over every little itch, checking "down there" with a mirror every night. What are the chances that I could still develop a yeast infection at this point? Would it have happened already while I was on the antibiotics or shortly after or can it still happen now, 3 days later???
