No Birth Control Taken, Period Lasts a month, HELP
Ok my best friend is not taking ne birth control, and she is constantly menstrating, she is 22 years old. She maybe has a 4 day break in a month, ne one what might be causing this. I do know that she has famimly history of problems with the uterus, and cysts. NE one who can help, thanks!
Why hasn't she gone to a doctor? She could have fibroids, or a hormone imbalance, or lots of things. Encourage her to get it checked out. She is probably anemic by now.
We have to go to a free clinic because we have no medical insurance, and can't afford it, medi-cal is only for people with children, or refugee's, etc. We do not qualify for medi-cal, so we have to wait until we can be seen by a doctor at the free clinic, but we are going in on MOnday!!
It just may be fibroids or some sort of imbalance...even at most free
clinics they can get you referred to a hospital for ultrasounds to check for complications, fibroids,cysts..etc.Bleeding for long periods of time like that can cause other medical conditions, I experienced the long menstral cycles also and it was fibroid tumors, they can go away on there on...in the event that it is something else she may need some sort of treatment.Even if it is just Birth control pills to help regulate.
