Hi. I guess you are referring to a Pap smear?
My best advise is not to worry or be nervous. It isn't as bad as you are probably expecting it to be. It generally isn't that bad at all (pain-wise), but you may be a person easily embarrassed.
I had my first Pap smear a few months ago. They made adouble-appointment so there was plenty of time to ask questions beforehand.
It is hard for me to answer, because the process tends to vary quite a bit from country to country. But I can give my experience... if a Pap smear is actually what you are asking about.
