Okay...let me try this again (haha..)!! I went to the doctor to get my birth control pills changed to different kind. I told him I wanted to be on Ortho-Novum because that's what kind my mom is on..and for her, the pill has done wonders!! Shorter/lighter periods, great skin and hardly any breast tenderness. He told me that since it worked that way for my mom, then it would more than likely be that way with me. Well..I looked at the prescription he wrote out for me, and it says "Ortho-Tri-Cyclen"..and umm..that isn't Ortho-Novum!! But in the office, as he was writing it out..he said it aloud.."Ortho...Novum..here you go!"
So I was doing some reading-up on OTC and I didn't really find where it said that people on this type of pill had shorter periods. Mine can usually last anywhere from 7-9 days!! So you can see why I want a pill that will make them a lot shorter
Anyway...is Ortho-Novum really what it's cracked up to be?? I am going to give my doctor a call in the morning and see if I can bring my prescription back up there and have him change it.
Anyone here on Ortho-Novum?? If so..please pleaseee let me know how it worked for you!! Thanks a TON!!
And I'm really sorry about the misunderstanding. Blech, I feel bad!
