I had something weird happen my last period. One week before I was supposed to get my period I started having a lot of pains in my lower abdomen. It wasn't cramping it felt more like strained muscles but I didn't do anything to strain them and it was acrossed my whole lower abdomen (I also have endometriosis, that is that my doctor suggested was causing it) but then two day's before my period was due when I went to the bathroom and whiped it was kind of a light brownish color and there was this little clear tissue thing the only way I know how to explain it is if you ever had your significant other *** inside you and then when it finally comes out it's a clear glob. This is what it looks like except smaller. I haven't had intercourse in like three weeks so that can't be it. But this happened twice that day and then the next day the same thing happened twice again except when I whiped it was a light pink color and there was another little tissue and I had cramps and a lower backache on and off that day. I got my period the next day and it was really heavy and a dark red/brown color. My period ended in two day's like usual but then today two day's after my period the same thing happened again when I whiped with the light brown and the tissue. I took a pregnancy test becuase that's what my friend suggested and it came back negative. So I don't know what is going on, so I was wondering if anyone else had this happen and what they thought is was. Sorry for the long message but I wanted to make sure I got everything. Anyone's suggestions would be great. Thanks.
Amb - Are you on the pill? If so did you miss any or take any late? That could cause this irregularness you are describing. I would suggest calling your doc just to make sure, and it will give you peace of mind as well.
Just a update, I called my doctor and he doesn't seem to be worried, he said I can come in if I want to but he thinks it's just mucus and if I'm not in any major pain I shouldn't worry about it. So I decided not to go but, the nurse told me to call them if it happens next month. So I guess I'm still kinda curious as to what is causing this but oh well my doctor went to school to be a OB/GYN so you would think he would have all the answers? Right :-)
