Unhappy Very Very concerned about my mother

My mother is 37 years old with 2 children, both teenagers. For the past couple of months she has been extremely worried of her period. When she is on it, it is very heavy and clotty. Her words are she feels like a stuffed pig. She has been having serious back problems and headaches for the last few months. Her period is abnormal and she doesn't know if this is a sign of menopause of something seriously wrong. She can't just go to the doctor because she doesn't have insurance right now because she was laid off. Does anyone have any ideas because I can't watch my mother go through this any longer??

I'd suggest your mother go to a clinic or a Planned Parenthood. Just to have it checked out. It she's feeling that bad, and having really heavy bleeding that isn't normal and could be a sign of something that's not good. She could just go to a local clinic in her area and see a doctor, make sure everything is okay.

there could be a lot of different causes for that. my stepmom has fibroids which she got in her 30s after having two children also. the bleeding from the fibroids for her are really really heavy.. (she could soak through a pad in 30 mins) while its not dangerous to your health, you could lose a lot of blood, and that could be whats causing her to not feel well. there are places where your mom could go to get checked up for free or very little cost. good luck!
