Hi Jane Doe. I understand. It happens to me also. I also feel uncomfortable with oral sex when there is a lot of discharge and it decreases the "sensation" for both of us during intercourse. I have been diagnosed with numerous Bacterial Vaginosis and yeast infections in the past. Some of these were accurate, but my current doctor feels as if some of them were misdiagnosed - with the doctor thinking it was yeast because there was so much discharge and prescribing medication, but then the results might have come back negative and I was not informed.
My current doctor is going back to review my past medical records (from different doctors), and then wants to meet with me again. He mentioned there are ways to decrease discharge, but they can be unpleasant. I have no idea what he meant - and it sounds like I might not want to!

My appointment is not until September 18th (to give him time to get my records sent).
I'll write again if I get more information from that appointment. Have you gotten any further information?
