Question evening primrose

Has anyone used evening primrose and if so, what made you start using it and are there any side effects? My doctors has suggested that i start taking them, but i am a bit weary.

Evening Primrose Oil does not have side effects. It is very effective for PMS and other period problems and can also help a lot with your skin too.

It is safe to be taken in the long term. I think that is great that a doctor has recommended that you take this rather than just pill pushing all the time.

Evening Primrose Oil is natural.

I have been taking 3000 mg of Evening primrose per day for the last 9 months due to severe, painful fibrocystic breast disease.after 6 months of taking it,I went for a mammogram and was told "no sign of fibrocystic disease". I will stay on it for the rest of my life!!!

My dr put me on primrose oil and 800 IU vitamin E to see if it would stop the breast pain associated with fibrocystic breast disease and a fibroadenoma. I was also told to go off all caffiene. Most of the breast pain I previously experienced disappeared within 2 month so starting the regimen. I just had my six month ultrasound after biopsy and they found the breast lump had shrunk 3 centimeters.
