"brown" spotting few days prior to starting? - Women's Health Message Board

has anyone else ever done this? I have been doing it for years! I am 42 with strong history of endometriosis. I thought it was considered normal,but someone recently said "no". Now,I will be worried about something else! All pap smears have always been normal,but was told I have small follicular cyst. Someone out there,please tell me you have had this happen also!!!

Oh yea, I've had that happen on and off over the years. I've bled during ovulation for a day, too. I don't think it's anything to be concerned about. It's just your hormone level dropping and you're getting ready for a period. If it concerns you, tell your gynocologist on your next annual visit.

You may just be noticing some changes taking place in your cycle being as your 42...entering the peri-menopause stage. Happened to me when I was about 40..just slight changes but I'm fine.

It happens to me also. I don't consider it to be a few days before my period, I consider it to be the beginning of my period. I am healthy.
