Question Can I eat/drink cold food when I have my period?

Can I eat/drink cold food when I have my period? The mothers of my friend's say doing so during when your period comes will cause your period to be heavier and longer staying. Is that true?

Thanks.

I would lay that to an "old wive's tale". Never heard of such a thing. Just be sure to eat healthy and take your vitamins.

That's total rubbish. You can eat and drink whatever you want, it won't effect how long or heavy your period is.

that sounds like a crock! i can't see how anything in your digestive system affects your reproductive system unless it's medication!!! besides....your stomach would warm that food up pretty quick!!!

old wive's tale if i ever heard one!

Hi there, I agree with Dianek and Strand3d. The best thing you can do is to eat healthy throughout the whole month and in the few days before your period. That will lessen your PMS symptoms. Temperature shouldn't have anything to do with it.
