Hormone Pills after cyst surgery - Women's Health Message Board

I had my cyst removed last month and I am recovering. Its endometriosis. My doc tells me that he will put me under hormone treatment. Pills to be more accurate, that I have to take consistently soon. Anyone here can tell me what to expect from this? Weight gain? Emotional problems? I have no idea. Anyone? I am kinda afraid because I don't know what will happen with these medication.

You have to aleast try some-thing because the endo. can kill your fertility if you dont. I am on Depo lupron, a once a month injection, so far not so good. Tons of hot flashes, little to no mood swings and no weight gain. But diffrent things to diffrent things to diffrent people. My advise to you is take all the help you can get. If you want kids in your future than mood swings and weight gain are so worth it!! God Bless and I will pray for you!!
