Brown Discharge - Women's Health Message Board

Ok I'm 16 and just today I have been experiencing some dark brown discharge. Sometimes it's normal and clear, other times it's brown. It only started today and I am due my period soon. I am not sexually active. What could this be?

Brown discharge is normal. It is just old blood.
Lots of people get it. Nothing to worry about.
It happens alot just before a period.

Even though I've never had it before? I'm due my period anytime now, I don't know, I think it's going to be late :-/

There is always a first time for everything.
Sometimes a period will start with brown spotting, then turn into a period.
There is nothing to worry about.

It's pretty much gone.

Yet there's no period. I'm confused.
