Out of the whole month, when are your chances the biggest in getting pregnant? I have heard that its basically 10 days after and 10 days before your period, is this true? Thanks!

It is different for every woman,but there is a broad time frame that can help if one has sex during that time. It helps only it isnt to say you will get pregnant during that time. Days 10 through 20 are one's best bet. Now to figure this you count the start of your period as day one and go forward from there.
Now if you truly want to increase your chances of pregnancy you should read the book Taking Charge Of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. It is a great book that can show you how to interupt and use the signs your body gives to show when YOU are most fertile.

I agree, read Taking Charge of Your Fertility. Your most fertile days are the 3 days before ovulation, the day of ovulation, and possibility the day after ovulation. Sex 1-2 days before ovulation is most likely to cause pregnancy because then the sperm can be there waiting for the egg when it is released during ovulation, but if you are wanting to up your chances, having intercourse daily during your fertile period is your best bet (though some couples do every other day). For me, I ovulate around day 13 of my cycle (usually), but every woman is different.
