Bright yellow is not normal and should be checked by your doctor more so if it is a recent change(by the sounds of your post it is). I wouldnt use the Victoria's Secret stuff in the vulva area again. Plain water tends to be enough to clean one's self there. If you have to use soap a mild nonfragrant soap on the outside is ok to use.

Re: Washing Your Area!!!

I would not use anything with purfume. Might try Summe's Eve feminine wash for sensitive skin. It's soap-free and hypo-allergenic. Also pretty inexpensive (arount $2.00-$3.00). I know some will say it is better to just use water, but I just don't feel clean unless I use some kind of cleanser.

Re: Washing Your Area!!!

Yikes-never use anything like regular shower gel or soap to wash there...you can get infections or just a bad allergic reaction. Some women can't even take bubble baths because they get UTI. What happens is that when you use normal soap, it's high in alkaline and disrupts your ph balance too. Plain water is fine. Some doctors don't even recommend douching-I'll never forget the words of my old gyno:" It's a true *****cat-it cleans itself!"

There's no proof that the perfume is what caused your infection, but you most definitely have one. I would discontinue using anything in that area though. Scented perfumes etc are never recommended for those areas.. that's why they make summers eve etc. Go see the dr.. you probably just have a yeast infection.. which doesnt always itch etc.. But yellow is not normal.
