Red face Skipped Plecebo pills now bleeding!!!

Hello everyone I have been on ortho-tri cyclen for about 4 months now. Last month I decided to skip my plecebo pills (green, sugar pills). I went strait from one pack of active pills to another. But about half way through the 2nd pack I started bleeding. I don't know if it is my period or breakthrogh bleeding or what and when it will stop. I have been bleeding for about 7 days now. I normally have my period for about only 7 days. Should I just stop taking my birthcontrol if I don't stop bleeding in the next couple of days?? Please help!!

It is very common to have breakthrough bleeding for the first 4 months when trying to skip your periods by taking birth control pills continuous. I bled for about two weeks when I first starting doing that. My doctor prescribed taking it that way for endometriosis.
