Hi. I'm new here. I just wanted to tell a little about myself and the problems I've had for the past six years and see if anyone can help me. I'm 19 years old now and these problems started at age 13.
Okay, when I was thirteen I started experiencing problems due to heat whether it be from the sun or just getting too hot in a room or whatever. I would just all of a sudden be burning up. This would cause me to get nervous and scared and cause me to hyperventalate. I never fainted but often felt close to it. This started happening rather often and from time to time I also had dizziness and blackouts mixed in with my hot flashes.
Over the course of the last six years the dizziness and blackouts have minimized to not very often, however I am still having difficulty with hot flashes. Only now not only do I have hot flashes, but cold flashes as well. The do not counteract one another, I have them both at the same time. I can be burning up on the outside and cold as an icecube on the inside or visa versa. These problems have always caused difficulty breathing and can come at any time during the day. However, the hot flashes and cold flashes do not come when I sleep at all. Most of the time, but not all of the time, it's caused by environment change. Like if I go inside after being in the cold or visa versa. It's only when I am awake and I don't sweat. Usually, if I'm experiencing both types of flashes, I will have difficulty breathing and sometimes feel like I'm chokiing and I find myself pulling at my collar even if I don't have one or it's not even tight around my neck.
I've tried looking up my symptoms on the internet and have found some things that it might be, but I am interested in if anyone has the same problems as me and if anyone could help me figure out any part of this I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks so much.
